Review summary

The cruise starts in Oahu, visits four ports on three other islands, and returns seven days later to Honolulu. We saw a lot of Hawaii, which was our goal. My wife was born on Oahu and spent several years there, but never visited other islands.

The excursions were good to excellent. We like snorkeling, so did that a lot. We did kayaking and found that we are bad at it. We wanted to go horseback riding, but found that there is a weight limit of 225 pounds and neither of our grandsons could participate, so we went snorkeling again.

Disappointing. I didn't have one memorable meal.

Service and Staff

Not as friendly as on many other cruises.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Pretty small for a semi-suite, compared with other cruise lines. Each steward has 20 rooms each, which means they work hard but can't get to your room often.

Ship tip

Staff is not friendly compared with other cruises I've been on. Virtually no smoking. One small bar at the back of the ship allows it. When it rains, and it does often, you have little protection. Buffets close early.
