Review summary

I bought this cruise for the opportunity to see the various Hawaiian islands.  It was effective for that.  However, you're getting half of the value of the cruise (compared to a similar length caribbean cruise) for twice the price.  The cruise ship itself and entertainment aren't that great (probably because you're at port a lot, which is a great thing); but you're getting less value from NCL itself and they're jacking up the price just because you are in Hawaii.  If I were to do it again I would just get hotels and flights/ferries to see the various islands.

Cabin was good, but steward kept returning dirty glasses in our room.

Ship tip

don't do it...just stay on the islands and you'll get better value.

The captain was concerned about a storm later in the day so they didn't let us get off at this port.

We have done four times and love only having to unpack once. Wasting time in airports to each island, airfare, hotels, food cost way more. Hawaii is much more expensive than the Carribean. And this is the only U.S. registered cruise ship in the world requiring U.S. crew and 80 percent staff.
