Review summary

We loved this cruise! We chose the cruise as our way of "island hopping", and had a great time! The staff was very friendly and personable. They worked very hard to make sure guests were comfortable and involved in all the fun things the ship has to offer. The shows in the evening in Hollywood Theatre were awesome! The excursions we did were very organized and on time. We feel we saw a lot of the islands in the short time we were there! The tour guides were both very informative and knowledgable. They gave great pointers about places to see, etc. The ship itself was very nice, but I was a little underwhelmed, as I have cruised on bigger, fancier ships in the past. The décor was very well within their theme "Pride of America", and there were renovations occurring while we were on board. This was only  minor things (revarnishing handrails, and installing new carpet) that did not interrupt our enjoyment of vacation, as most of the work took place overnight. We would recommend this cruise! Great experience!

Daci (assistant cruise director) went above and beyond to be involved with the guests and make everyone feel welcome! She was the familiar face you saw everywhere! All the crew were amazing!!

Cabin / Stateroom

Housekeeping staff was great! Our cabin was always clean, and we loved they towel animals everyday! The cabin had plenty of room for the 2 of us, but I'm not sure how a family of 4 would fare as far as closet space, etc. The bathroom was overall bigger than I thought it would be, but if anyone can share the secret for women shaving their legs in the little shower, let me know, lol!

Ship tip

Skyline Dining Room and East Meets West were our favorite places to eat! And don't forget to get your Carlos Bakery/ Cake Boss favorite dessert while you're onboard! Loved that everyday there was a featured tropical "Drink of the Day" at a discounted price!

We the Pearl Harbor/ City tour upon returning to port! No impressed with Waikiki area, as compared to the rest of the island.

Kahului, Maui

Did the crater tour, and it was great views! We then had a lot of time, so we went to Lahina for the rest of the day.

Hilo, Hawaii

We did the Secrets of Puna Tour. It was cool hiking hte old lava flows, but I was disappointed in the blacksand beach (the hurricane took most of the sand away, and you can walk on a beach), as they are prettier on the Road to Hana. The lady at the excursion desk said we wouldn't see black sand beaches anywhere else, but was wrong. We would have chosen the other excursion we were torn between.

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

Enjoyed the historical tour and the painted church. We still had plenty of shopping and beach time afterwards!

Nawiliwili, Kauai

The movie tour was interesting, and we got to see a lot of the island, but maybe would have just enjoyed a day at the beach.
