Review summary

5th cruise, 1st on NCL. I selected this cruise as a way to see many of the islands without having to change hotels. However, I will never sail with them again. TSA is much easier to deal with than NCL.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Food was awful\, even in specialty restaurants. Order a steak medium\, get it well-done\, ask for a replacement & it comes out as charcoal.

Service and Staff

They hired the staff the DMV or local government refuses to employ. Staff top to bottom is awful. They dislike their jobs & it shows. Wrong orders\, delayed service\, but mandatory tipping included at the bar. Many of the staff were openly hostile towards guests when requests were made.

Ship Quality

Ship was fine. Only layout concern was the photo gallery was in the narrow hall to the dining rooms. This made for congestion. Relocating this to another unused area (the huge empty library for example) would be recommended.

Cabin / Stateroom

Overall room shows age\, but nice size and comfort.

Pros: Floating hotel to get you to the island

Cons: Time interacting with staff on ship

Recommends Pride of America? No.
