What a great vacation!!!!

Sail Date: March 14, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We had a wonderful time on the ship, the shows were nice, the drinks WAY overpriced but that is with all cruises. We were a bit put off with the $12 a day service fee added on at the end of the trip, I think that they should be honest and tell you up front, not when you get the bill!!! The room stewards kept the room very clean, and for a ship it was a large room, ocean view balcony. The food was good, but again, a added fee for the highest quality food of $15 to $25 a person depending on what you wanted to eat.

Pros: The cruise was top notch service and very clean

Cons: it was not told to us that there would be a extra $12 a day fee until the last day

Hilo, Hawaii
It rained all day, we did a plane instead of a helicopter tour, don't waste your time with either, for $200 a person you can go on a boat ride or hike and see the waterfalls and lava up close.
Don't Miss: the lava spout
Kahului, Maui
It rained on this part of our trip for most of the time, but the whale watch was awsome, and across the street at the maui mall is a little place that does nails that gives the best facials and massages at really low prices!
Don't Miss: go to the aquarium
Nawiliwili, Kauai
Don't eat out here, even BK is $10 a value meal, but the shops at the great horn give the best deal out of all the islands, pearl bracelets for $1
Don't Miss: the blue dolphin boat tours, was a blast and saw lots of wildlife
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
The beaches were nice, small but great clear swimming water with beautiful fish everywhere.
Don't Miss: Go snorkeling with Captian Zodiac, a must, small boat lots of fun!
