Review summary

I was way disappointed in loosing two Hawaii days port of call on Maui. I understand why but I thing RC should have tried a little bit harder to make that up in Hawaii. We live near both Seattle and Victoria so they were not a interest to us.

Ship tip

This ship uses its internet satellite service to allow some cellular providers to broadcast their cellular service. This information was denied by the guest services staff but I confirmed with AT&T. I had to me a hidden cost for cellular that ran in the background. They need to detail what is available not just push their ship internet plans.

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Victoria, British Columbia

Always a nice place to visit however not on the itinerary when the trip was purchased.

Seattle, Washington

Had to go through customs here. Took over 3 hours to do this, just messed up our planned shore trip.

Cruise Napali Coast, Kauai

Great scenery but I'd have preferred to do a port stop.

Honolulu, Oahu

4 out of 5
Ok, but it was the disembarking port so nothing fancy.

Disembarkation

Pretty fast

Agreed. It was a bit disappointing as this was originally sold as a Hawaiian cruise and really was just a repositioning. I think they could have made an effort to tender us to one of the islands. Ah well. I thought the crew on board was phenomenal despite that.

I was on your sailing, got home today. There were a lot of legitimate reasons we couldn’t go elsewhere, sad to say. And yes, the Immigration for the USA was an absolute mess. We were lucky, first people through it at Two70, we were down there at 6 am, first in line, back onboard at 7:10 am. Took ship shuttle to Pikes Market, soooo many people there.
