why did you give it 4* if you disliked it so much?

I am an experienced cruiser and agree with you. I was on Anthem of the Seas last year, its sister ship. I didnt realize the entertainment was going to be the same. I blame myself for not doing better research on ports I New Zealand. They are not like other numerous ports I have been to where you can get on and off ships all day long if you want. Not commercial ports like New Zealand as nd excursions to too long to get to, little time to spend at. The ship is nice, service was amazing, food was very good. There were ALOT of kids on this cruise which I could not understand going 10 days to New Zealand. I saw adults push there children in front of lines to bumper cars and when confronted, they just said they were watching not riding but nope, they lied and this happened frequently so shame on those parents who showed children that lying and pushing your way around is the way of life. Never ate once in the windjammer as it's a free for all in there. Trivia was a joke, entertainment was terrible. Staff always approaching you up selling their packages constantly bugging you. With that all being said, I love Royal Caribbean, not loyal to royal as we do other cruise lines but we have one more planned cruise with them so far this year. I must say even though it was an ok cruise, it was not my favorite. To each his own.

How could you get bored on a cruise if your with a group already this make no sense. Enjoy yourself together you don’t need all the rest.

I went on Ovation last year. There were a few niggles I didn’t like but overall the ship was great, but like you I found the entertainment a little underwhelming, that was mainly due to the crappy design of the theatre. If your in a wheelchair or have other mobility issue then the theatre design is something you’ll hate

I’m 34 and went on Ovation a couple of weeks ago, we found it fantastic, far from boring with great entertainment and heaps to do. We couldn’t even do everything we wanted because there was so much. Shame you didn’t find the same.

Quantum class is our favorite, been on the anthem before and will be on the Ovation in July. We made sure our 3 week cruise next year was on that class of shop as there is so much to do.

You sound young and inexperienced. You would be happier on Carnival. It is cheaper, and the young people are drunk all over the ship. They puke down the hallway, and pass out. The older generations are catered to on Holland America. I can’t imagine how you can be bored on a ship like Ovation. Flow Rider, Bumper Cars, ifly, Northstar, Rock Climbing wall, Trapeze, Roller Skating, Sea Plex, The Quest etc....
