Review summary

Lovely cruise, the ship was great, we realised that we prefer smaller ships. Having said this, I would cruise on the Ovation of the sea again, but she is not my first choice.

Good, quick. They opened a secondary check in point the speed the whole process up considerably.

Food and Dining

Food was good and plentiful. The specialty restaurants were good, and they were a good way to not over eat (As much anyway lol)

Onboard Activities

The adult area on the ship was nice, but as always people bring in young children and the age limit is not enforced. The facilities were in good order, the Eue was fun and gave a totally different view of the shop.

Entertainment

The shows were ok. I enjoyed the shows done by the ship entertainers much more than the guest performers The way they kepted changing the time of the set show each night, made it hard to get into a dinner routine.

The staff as always were great. But due to the size of the ship and amount of people, the service was not as personal as on the smaller ships.

Clean, new and the layout was practical.

Cabin / Stateroom

Vertual balcony (VB) room. Due to the VB the lounge has been removed so only 1 chair. The room seemed smaller than some other ships we have been on. The bathroom was well designed and clean. We don’t spend much time in the cabin, so it was comfortable and clean.
