Review summary

We stayed in interior cabin with virtual balcony. Nice and cosy with a single sofa. Easy to go pool deck and lift lobby. Our housekeeping staff impressed us with wonderful service and impressed us with towel animals. Loved food variety in windjammer marketplace and service by american icon & silk main dining rooms. Our ship had cruised through scenic sounds and had docked at port chalmer, Wellington, napier and picton. Great ports but time was limited in Wellington. A variety of entertainment and activities on ship but attitude of some staffs need improvement. Not impressed with hostile attitude of North star counter staff.

Food was excellent especially in windjammer and Sorrento pizza. There is always changes in Asian food offer in windjammer and we had more than half of our meals there. The cheesy pizza in Sorrento is absolutely unforgettable. Our best snack areas after meal hours.

Onboard Activities

Had tried ifly, Northstar and bumper cars. Bumper cars are fun and interactive. Not too impressed with the staff for Northstar. Ifly experience is unusual but I doubt I'll want to try again.

Entertainment

I had watched the star performance in two 70 as well as the special effect show during the elite members gathering. Also watched a couple of performance in main theater as well as a 3 D movie. Nice effect but need to be there early to get good seats.

It was an interior stateroom with a single sofa and was at close proximity to reach solarium pool. The room was small but sufficient room to stretch a bit. The cabin was clean. As we do not stay in our cabin most of the time, it is sufficient for our needs.
