Review summary

It was the worst cruise I have ever been on.The food was mediocre.The wind jammer was very hard to find a seat.Chinese were reserving up to ten seats at a time taking large plates of food when it ran out wasn't being replaced.The ship says no smoking is allowed in indoor public areas yet the casino is like an opium den the amount of smokers using it.At the end of the cruise we were told to leave early to give the ship a deep cleaning because of a novo virus outbreak.The hall where we collected our cases had thousands of people in it and was a nightmare

That’s too bad. I think casinos are smoky no matter what ship and/or cruise line. And... taking large plates of food is pretty universal I guess. 😊

How many cruises have you been on? It doesn’t have any listed on profile. One thing I’ll give u is the hard time finding a seat in the windjammer

I loved the Ovation of the Seas. Everything was well organised and plenty of varied foods. Crew would help you find a seat if you couldn't find one yourself. Surely if you go on a cruise you realize you will meet different nationalities. It's all in the experience. Maybe go with another cruise line and stay in Aussie waters. It is a fabulous ship and crew are fantastic.

Sorry you such a bad experience,I was recently on the Ovation,with the journey ending in Singapore,I am making an assumption that the mix of cruisers was somewhat different,sanitisers were everywhere,the food offering was very good.Please do not give up on Ovation,she is a lovely ship and crew,happy and safe future Cruising xxx
