Review summary

No more Holland for us! 3 of 4 ports cancelled and they had no back up plans....just sailed for half the trip. Mainstage entertainment was bad...(BB King's Jazz Club only highlight). Excursions were averge at best

I was on this cruise. We DID go to other ports. So I’m not sure what this person is talking about. We did miss Half Moon Cay because seas were very rough due to wind. Tender was not possible. We missed Punta Cana but it was replaced with Samana DR, not a sea day. We missed Grand Turk but was replaced with San Juan PR, again not a sea day. Amber Cove was the final stop and it was fine. I think the captain did an amazing job trying to keep the ship out of the storms and high winds. We had a great time !!

So sorry to hear some of your ports were cancelled due to weather. Captain has to keep "safety first" rule always. Not Holland America's fault, but would of been nice if they were able to visit another port. That happens on all cruise lines. Info about weather related issues is in the contract.
