Review summary

We were so disappointed in this RC ship. Having been on over 20 cruises and several RC ships this was by far the worst ship we had ever been on. I would not recommend this cruise to any one.

The worst bands and evening entertainment. All the good music must of gone to the new ICon ship. Awful. We went to bed after dinner every night about 9PM

Service and Staff

Staff and service was fair. The stewards were over worked and only cleaned our rooms once per day. Waiters were very pleasant.

Small but efficient balcony.

Ship tip

The food was inedible at times. The better chefs must of gone to the New Icon ship. So repetitive. Usually cold and not appealing. Also the entertainment needs improvement. We went on the Anthem last year and the food and entertainment were so much better. This is the last RC cruise we will be taking.

We did not like the Odyssey. It was too crowded (5400p onboard) and everything was loud.So it all depends on what you want.

Stick with Carnival as you have no sense of a great cruise. Odyssey is a wonderful ship with wonderful crew. Your review is not remotely close to the majority.

Interesting how one person has little good to say, yet someone else on the SAME sailing had little bad to say. Of course, this person is probably jaded with cruising while the other was a fresh newbie with cruising being new and exciting.
