Review summary

We Loved every moment of our cruise on Odyssey. Couldn't have asked for a better cruise. The service is the best. Everyone friendly and seeks to make every moment count. Can't wait to do this again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Everything was good BUT we need the CLASSICS added back to the menu. One night we opted to eat at the Windjammer because there was nothing that looked good on the Bon Voyage menu. The Coastal Kitchen was top notch and love how they still have the CLASSIC'S offered. Windjammer was good. El Loco Fresh was AMAZING! Sorrento's pizza was fabulous and we always love coffee and cookies from Cafe Promenade and we also had the Campfire Cookie from Playmakers! UNBELIEVABLE!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Our granddaughter loved the I fly and the instructor Alex was super! We enjoyed the pools and spas. The SeaPlex is amazing. Would have loved to have gotten an opportunity to try out the North Star but it was booked. We loved the movie, Where The Crawdads Sing by the pool, but there aren't a lot of good seats that aren't being blocked by the trees on the deck.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We enjoyed Tony Tillman. The Effectors was okay. The drones were the best part. The Book was okay as well. Nothing outstanding at all. We have enjoyed broadway shows on other ships and was disappointed at the Odyssey's offering of entertainment.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service on the Odyssey is top notch. Our room steward met all of our needs and always so kind and the room was perfection.

Ship Quality

Such a beautiful ship. Everything was perfect.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Muhammad did a fabulous job with our comfort level. I asked for a firmer pillow and it was no problem at all. He kept the room impeccable and always greeted us with a smile. We LOVED our cabin and especially the huge balcony. Wish we were there right now, watching the ocean go by!

Ship tip

My best advise if anyone is about to sail on Odyssey or any ship is to book for shows asap and make reservations for any activity quickly.

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
We hadn't been to Labadee in a long time and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the island looked. We enjoyed our time there. It was amazing that the dancers came to the port to bid us goodbye. We loved that.

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
Our first time to Aruba and it didn't disappoint. We did an excursion and was very happy with our driver, Bert. We got to see the Natural Bridge, rock formations and the glorious Eagle Beach. Bert was very friendly.

Willemstad, Curacao

5 out of 5
This is one of the most beautiful islands that we have ever seen. The beautiful buildings and beaches were just breathtaking. Wish we had a longer time to spend there.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was perfect. AI facial recognition makes life so much simpler. Thanks to RCL for making such a smooth experience compared to years ago. It used to be the worst part of a cruise but now, it's easy peasy!
