Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Night one wasn't great. MOST food was quite good, but, not memorable. Tried to remember this wasn't fine-dining as they are cooking for 4500 people.

Onboard Activities

Pools. Spa. Fitness. Sports bar. Arcade. Casino. Adult only area. Trivia, Too much of a wait for flow rider,,

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We LOVED big band night with the orchestra. Didn't attend anything else.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Attentive. Polite. Speedy. Ready to please. SO pleasant and friendly. Spa staff was slightly pushy to buy products and meet with a doctor though.

Ship Quality

So easy to get around from our stateroom.

Cabin / Stateroom

Thought our cabin was perfect. Plenty of storage. Our attendant kept our room spotless at all times!

Ship tip

SUNSCREEN. Patience for crowds - it's a big ship. There are plenty of places to escape the hustle and bustle of the main noise of the ship. Seek them out.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Merely boarded the ship here. Traffic is crazy on cruise day,

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

LOVED our time in our over the water bungalow but our venture to the shopping area was not pleasant.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Did a resort for the day. Swim up bar. Great drinks (included with our drink package), perfect way to spend a day off the ship - IF you are a beach and water lover.

Willemstad, Curacao

Had been here 30 years ago when it was a quaint community. Did not enjoy the tour at all. Departed late and very unorganized. Riding around through subdivisions is not entertaining. Time at Blue Curacao was incredibly rushed. Beach was beautiful and we had a good meal there. Left early to return to ship. And it cost $60 for a taxi for 6. In Aruba we paid $32 for TWO taxi,

Flawless. They have this down to a science.
