Overall was a great experience. Would highly recommend Odyssey to anyone.
Embarkation

Although it was a bit chaotic when we first arrived at the terminal, once inside it went very smoothly and quickly
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We only ate at the complimentary venues; Windjammer Buffet for breakfast and lunch and the MDR for dinner. Although we really enjoyed the layout of the buffet, it seemed like there were fewer choices than what we remembered on the Harmony and food choices seemed to be the same everyday. Food was generally good. As far as the MDR is concerned, we were very pleased in the manner they handled seating our party of 10 everyday and altogether and the speed and professionalism of our head waiter and his assistant. However, the meals were hit or miss. Some were very good, and some were very bad.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Activities were truly outstanding. Some one in our group tried everything on the ship including IFly, Northstar, VR Adventure Zone, bumper cars, Flow Rider, Seaplex, rock climbing, and Skypad (although VR part was not working). VR Adventure Zone should not be missed.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The performers in Showgirls were Broadway caliber. The Book, and Effectors had absolutely stunning visual effects. The Two70 Experience was just very informative about just how much RC spent on this venue and technology behind the workings of this.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All ship personnel were extremely courteous and professional
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
In general, we enjoyed the layout of the ship. It is a beautiful ship. Staff was constantly cleaning it. One thing we didn’t particularly care for was the layout of the Royal Esplenade. We felt it was too narrow and contained pubs/bars/ shops and other venues in the middle of the Esplenade which just made it feel too crowded.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We had a J4 Jr. Suite and it was very spacious with a very large balcony. It had a separate toilet room and the main bath has a rainfall shower and a tub. We’re spoiled now and probably won’t do anything but this type of cabin in the future
Ship tip
Be sure to book reservations for all your entertainment and activities as soon as you get on board as they fill up fast. Also be aware that some of these have a fee (VR was $30 per person).
Absolutely loved it, although we had to wait an hour for a tram once on Coco Cay since there was an accident with one of them. Can’t blame RC for that. Our kids and their families did the water park pass and had a blast.
Yes there are different categories of Junior Suites. This was a J4 Junior Suite which is for 2 persons. Be sure you research which one you are getting. BTW our balcony had lounge chairs not just regular chairs.
