We definitely will continue to cruise with Royal Caribbean. The overall service has always been better than average. This trip was enjoyable even though there were over 4200 passengers on it. It didn't seem crowded at all, even on a Sea Day.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived at our scheduled window and continued to walk through all the stops with no lines.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We sign up for 'my time' dining. We didn't go to any of the specialty restaurants. The buffets had a great selection. It was a little crowded at times.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We attended 'The Captain's Corner' which was very informative. He was very personal and comical at times. We attended the various shows which were all great and New York Show caliber.
Children's Programs
We didn't have any children with us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We had an awesome waiter and assistant for our nightly dinner in 'my time dinning'. Also Hasi (nick name) bartender in the Windjammer was great!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We were impressed that there were plenty of lounge chairs around the deck even though the ship was at basically 100 percent double-occupancy capacity.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
This stateroom was more spacious than our previous ones, in particular the bathroom. All the cabinet drawers have the automatic closer sliders. There was more storage spacious than other ships that we've been on in the past.
This terminal was nice and clean. We only got off the ship and walk around the shops within the terminal. The service was great from all people that we encountered. Unfortunately the pool had to be closed down twice while we were in it.
This is our second time at this private beach. It doesn't compare to Coco Cay. The service was not on par with Coco Cay. The performers came around asking for money after each show.
Willwork4cruz:
Fare question. We personally have not tried other cruise lines. We believe in loyalty programs. So we did research via listening to our friends who traveled on various cruise lines and the internet as well as checking out the loyalty programs. We jumped on with Royal Caribbean and feel we made a good decision.
Happy cruising
