The Odyssey is a nice ship with lots of activities. The crew was definitely appreciative of having passengers again and went above and beyond to please everyone. The wait staff at the pool was always available and even regularly brought us water! Hardly a wait for anything, which was magnificent. I wish I could have stayed onboard for another couple of trips!

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room was very spacious and peaceful. The staff was tentative and appreciative. The food was excellent and yummy! Wonderland was a lot of fun and the food was interesting but delicious! The hibachi restaurant was disappointing - they did not throw the food and there was no flaming onion (found out later that they cannot have open flames on the ship - I wish I knew that ahead of time). The lobster at Terrinyaki was salty and tasty fishy and the scallops were undercooked. That restaurant was not worth the extra money, especially considering how nice the MDR was on this ship with no crowds.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Bumper cars were excellent. There was hardly a line and you get a long ride. There were plenty of cars and they really moved quickly. The Northstar was a lot of fun and it was easy to take advantage of the complimentary rides. The staff for all of these activities were so tentative, friendly and appreciative.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows on the Odyssey blew me away - the technology was incredible and not expected on a cruise ship. Anyone traveling on the Odyssey has to see the Showgirl, The Effectors and The Book. In addition, Odyssey picked some nice headliner acts that were quite amusing.
Children's Programs
No kids with us!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service and staff were impressive. This was my sixth cruise and I have never been so pampered on a cruise like this. The amount of crew and the fewer passengers made for a great experience.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was very clean. The elevators had touchless buttons. There were handwashing stations outside of the buffet area and the staff handled all of the spoons. There were lots of pre-plated foods. My only complaint would be that I missed having a more open promenade/esplanade deck.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
My cabin was nice. I felt that it was a bit tight moving around the bed and I was a little disappointed in not being able to see directly down into the water since there was a very wide lifeboat a couple of decks down. If not for that, I would give 5 stars.
Ship tip
Go to the Wonderland and do so with an open mind - it is quite an experience. Also, do not miss The Book or The Effectors shows.
We did an excursion that was a tour of Nassau and it was pretty nice. We visited a winery, chocolate factory and the Queens staircase, which were all very nice. I was disappointed that our itinerary changed since this replaced Grand Cayman. Nassau was picky about wearing masks - even on the pier with nobody around us. We were chased down the road by a man who appeared to be on drugs, so I did not feel that it was the safest place.
I love Aruba - felt very safe. The country is clean and kept up well. We took an excursion that included riding around for almost 5 hours on UTVs. It was an excellent tour and was worth the money. They were not nuts about wearing facemasks everywhere, which was pleasant for us.
I love Curacao - this is another clean and safe country. They were not to strict on facemasks in this country either, which was nice for us! We took an excursion that took us to Hato Caves and Mambo Beach. It was okay - nothing that special. The caves were nice but not as nice as the ones in Virginia and the beach was very busy and packed.
