Review summary

Southampton, day at sea which was nice, watched football in Winners Bar. New Years Eve in Hamburg, fantastic fireworks displays from the locals, Oceana sounded her horn, meal in the restaurant was amazing. Day at sea (horrible due to weather, stayed in the cabin as i was very poorly) Zeebrugge was OK (its a port not a lot to see) back to Southampton. Lovely mini break

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very well organised, arrived before our allocated time but still got on within 20 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Buffet was lovely, lots of seats available, only had to wait in line once. Good selection for people with food intolerance's (like myself). Went to the Beach Hut, food was brilliant and the service was great too.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didn't do any activities on board as there was nothing really that we wanted to do. This is just personal preference nothing against P & O.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Only went to 1 show (which we had seen before) but it was still good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As always ships company where brilliant, very helpful, always say hello, good morning etc. Cannot to enough for you, all you have to do is ask. The dietary department where outstanding as always, I feel sometimes like i'm coming across as "awkward" but they cannot do enough to help relax you and make your dining experience as enjoyable as everybody else on board.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was decked out lovely from Christmas, ready for New Year. All public areas where clean. Found having the buffet at the front & top of the boat a little strange and not good during bad weather (which we had) for somebody who has extreme sea sickness (which I do) but i think it would come into it's own in a warmer climate.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was clean if a little dated. Nothing wrong but just look a little tired. Good wardrobe space, very small bathroom, as we are not "small" our knees where nearly touching the door when using the toilet and this also means no space to step out of the shower to get your towels. Clean none the less.

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England Did not visit port

Embarkation only due to travelling to Southampton

Beautiful city, good if you have a healthy bank account and like branded items.

Bruges Did not visit port

Went to Blackenberg on the shuttle bus. Lovely town by the sea.
