Review summary

We booked with Alma Gardam and she gave us so many tips on what to pack, not bring, and in general what to expect leading up to the cruise. We were always well informed. She is very professional and truly cares about the customers positive satisfaction. We are very grateful to have her be the one to guide us with this vacation.

Embarkation

Our embarkation was a smooth process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The windjammer buffet had a variety of food selections of diverse culture. It was very clean. We especially enjoyed the main dining room where we were treated extra special and waited on by friendly and attentive staff. We didn't go to any specialty restaurant because we had all we needed at the others.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
It was loads of fun with the pools and slides outdoors, There was always zumba, or dance lessons which were great. I attended the Fitness Center and a special bootcamp class. Went to the Spa. Enjoyed Entertainment shows like Aqua80, Cats at the theater, Trivia, battle of the sexes, etc. There was an adult area called the Solarium which was appreciated for some down time/peace and quiet in either the jacuzzi, pool, or laying down with a cocktail and a good book.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Phenomenal! Ofcourse karaoke was nice to see. However we loved spending time at Boleros enjoying the performance from Son del Mar while dancing the night away!

Children's Programs

I went with Teens 16, 17 and 19.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
They went above and beyond!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship layout was easy to navigate. Common areas were cleaned and always maintained. We appreciated how there were stations people needed to wash their hands before entering dining halls. There were hand sanitizing areas everywhere. Bathrooms very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
There were 5 of us in a room. Our cabin had 2 king beds and a small twin bed which was perfect. We had 2 bathrooms which was great and saved us much time getting ready! Our cabin was always cleaned, although we kept it tidy.

Ship tip

Go for it. Oh, also be aware you will be charged $18USD a day for gratuity or services. Keep track of your expenses on the Royal Caribbean app. The app is very handy.
