Review summary

The ship is nice, especially since the amplification. Coming from a smaller ship it was definitely an upgrade. The onboard activities and the staff were pretty awesome. Would definitely sail on her again if she comes back to NJ

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very fast in New York. We arrived an hour early and walked right on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5

Portside BBQ

4 out of 5

Everything here is good except the brisket. It seemed very dry but the pulled meats were very tasty and juicy as were the burnt ends.

Playmakers℠ Sports Bar & Arcade

1 out of 5

Service was terrible. We sat down and waited for about 45 minutes to be served. We got up and went to Johnny rockets instead.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Generally the availability of the hot tubs was poor but overall they were clean.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
We tried to see the aqua show 3 times and all 3 times they had to cancel it until the 3rd show where they did a solely ground based performance which is aswell as other guest really didn’t enjoy.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Most of the staff were very good. No one stood out in particular

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Besides the dead bird we found in the aquarium theatre area (which is obviously not an uncommon thing) the ship was mostly clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was clean and secluded at the end of the hall. Only complaint was in rough seas there was a loud banging noise on a few of the nights coming from below us. The window is minimally obstructed and for the price we paid, which at the time was less than an interior, it was well worth it.
