Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was very good. I don’t like the slimmed down menu of the dining room. We wound up eating at Johnny rockets and playmakers 2 of the nights

Onboard Activities

Swimming! Zip line! Rock climbing wall! Abyss slide! Awesome!!!

Entertainment

Let me just say that the aqua 80’s show is one that CANNOT be missed! BEST SHOW EVER!! the show cats was horrible. I’m sorry to say. Don’t be upset if you don’t see this.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Being a carnival cruiser, this was my first rcl cruise. Let me just say that I was in awe of this ship. I am still amazed at this beauty. What an incredible layout and size. Nothing was left out when they built this ! If you don’t fall in love with oasis from the moment you step foot on her, then cruising isn’t for you!

Cabin / Stateroom

Omg. If you can book this room …DO IT!! This was the last room on the 10th floor overlooking the aqua theater and the ocean. You get the best of both world AND I got to see the aqua show 3 times!!!!

Ship tip

Watch videos on this ship. Get to know it a little before getting on. Trust me , it will make things a lot easier

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Not a port to visit. But being from Philly , it was easy to get to , to get on the ship.

Port Canaveral, Florida

Stayed on ship. Nothing to do here unless you want to pay for transportation to take you to overpriced tourist traps.

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
You can put pearls on a pig but at the end of the day it’s still a pig. Anyone who has been to Nassau before knows what I am saying. It is a complete dump where you literally get accosted by the locals. You practically have to fight them to leave you alone. Stay on the ship. You won’t regret it.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Perfect day is 100% worth the trip. Royal did one heck of a job on this island. Simply amazing. Only downfall is that it was the shortest time spent on any port on this trip which I cannot understand. We spent way more time in Nassau (the dump) . Can’t figure this out.

Disembarkation

It would of been way better , but the employees would literally scream in your face as you were walking by!
