Review summary

We enjoyed the Oasis and all the activities. The menu at this stage was still unchanged. Great food every night in the MDR. We also enjoyed the food in the Solarium Bistro and Windjammer. Excellent service received from all staff. Overall a lovely 10 days, no complaints.

We stayed in a guarantee - 14612 - we were very happy with the location. A little bit of noise early morning from the pool deck above but not enough to worry us. The cabin was great. Always kept spotless by our cabin steward.

We booked our shore excursions, dinners and shows before embarkation.

We did the steel band and snorkel excursion. The steel band only played for the first part of the excursion and was great. Our original beach for snorkel was canceled due to weather so we visited another one which was a bit of a let down but we understood that this couldn’t be helped. The music back on the boat was played by a DJ and choice of music was good but unbearably loud to the point that it sounded distorted which was a pity.

We took a shared taxi and visited Maho beach for a few hours to see the planes going overhead. Great experience! Don’t do this privately late in the day as the traffic gets chaotic back to the ship.
