Review summary

This was an amazing trip. We will always cruise Royal Caribbean now. The ONLY thing that sucked was it was our honeymoon and while my other half mentioned that.. they didn’t do anything. He would have even paid for it.. (roses on bed.. champagne.. etc) just something to think about. Instead I walked into a cabin with the special treat of the rock lounge right above me 😂 (I’m not a Karen though. Like I said… only sucked the first night.) But yes. I’ve been cruising for a long time and while this was my first time on Royal…… Other cruise lines always have something special when I walk into my room. This was the one time it would have been amaze for something spectacular especially since when he booked he mentioned us getting married the week before. Otherwise, outstanding. Your staff truly made this entire trip for us. Thank you.

Easiest time getting on a cruise than I have ever experienced.

Food and Dining

The food was better than amazing. I’ve been cruising my entire life and this was my first Royal Caribbean cruise and I’ll never go elsewhere.

Onboard Activities

Would prefer karaoke bars and other things to stay open other than the club.

We still talk about Aqua80. WOW. Incredible.

Service and Staff

This was our favorite part of the cruise. The staff!!! It was our honeymoon, and while we told the cruise line this… not much was done. I was a little disappointed because at resorts they go above and beyond. As an avid cruiser, I definitely expected more. But… the staff on Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas… made up for that. Mark in the main deck Spanish bar is was top level. He made amazing drinks while also being attentive and entertaining. We went there on the first night and didn’t want to go elsewhere the entire cruise. Him and Renier made our cruise experience top notch. Every time we came in they remembered our names, our drinks, and most of all.. looked happy to see us! And we were equally happy to see them. We spent every single night at Boleros because of them! Also - Agusti. (Dining room server) I was a little upset that we were placed with a table of 10 other people after my other half said it was our honeymoon and wanted something a little smaller. After I went and explained my frustration, an employee helped me (one of the restaurant heads) *thank you sir* and told me we would be dining alone now. We met our server. Agusti. Oh my goodness. As mentioned before, this is I think my 10th cruise….. this man needs an award. Agusti was the only one on that cruise ship that made my husband and I feel like we just got married! He was absolutely phenomenal in every single thing he did. He made sure everything was perfect while also just being extremely friendly and courteous. He was on top of explaining meals and also SUGGESTING meals. He never left us thirsty… I always had water and my wine of choice that night. By the end of the trip, we literally wanted to hug Agusti. We can’t thank him enough for putting in the effort and making our honeymoon incredible. Mark, Renier & Agusti…. Thank you. You all literally made our trip. Also special shout out to Curtis for always dancing the night away in Boleros and making everyone smile! Curtis you rock!!

Ship Quality

Best I’ve ever seen. Sucked we were above the rock lounge (only cause the first night was ROUGHHHHH) we heard everything. Every other night was impeccable though. (Love the barf bags during the first night. lol! That was rough.)

Cabin / Stateroom

We were right above the rock hall as mentioned above. The only bad night was the first one when it was really rough waters. My only thing ….. I told our amazing room dude that any empty or seemingly empty glasses he can take (we drink a lot) And every time he made up our room all the glasses were still there. I hate putting them outside because I feel weird doing that. But I’m also not sure if he was doing that to protect himself because other people got mad about taking glasses and drinks that weren’t done? Either way. He was amazing and I don’t mind doing it. I was just curious!

Ship tip

If you are lost, go to the center. Always center. Not aft. Follow the elevators, honestly. But this ship is amazing to navigate. No issues at all.

Easier than ever. Elevators sucked so bad on the ship but I expected that.
