Review summary

First time on the balcony, memorable experience My time dining but I had to make a reservation for every day...huh? WIndjammer was totally overcrowded and the food was often cold and/ or stale. Whirlpools were fun but the temperatures varied from one to the next Shows were very nice (Frozen in Time, Phoenix, Comedians, Cats) Trivia was timely A few things missing - no place to buy everyday items (toothpaste, deodorant, etc.) Took six days to find the library on-board...huge disappointment (very very limited supply of books). Why waste the space on the ship? Where is the computer room/ business center?

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and stressless

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Overcrowded, disorganized, often times cold and stale

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fitness center and running track were great. Whirlpools were hit or miss (some were hot but some were just warm)

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Phoenix was incredible. Frozen in Time was memorable

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Room steward was amazing, waiters were nice for the most part, bartenders were very attentive

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Central Park was a new experience. Slides were amazing. Very well maintained and clean ship. Mini golf is kind of a wasted experience.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Smaller than we thought it was going to be. Upgraded to balcony cause we assumed the balcony would be bigger than the ocean view. Very clean and well maintained room. After a few days, we got comfortable with it.

Ship tip

Get used to a huge crowd. After five cruises, I have never seen so many people and such disorganization in the Windjammer. People walking into one another, signs over the food that do not classify what is actually there, overcrowded dining area (sitting on top of each other), but you get used to it after a day or two.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

5 out of 5
Very well maintained, organized and orderly

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Nothing special. Reminded me of an airport parking lot setting. Went to the Ron Jon Surf Shop. Waste of money. Excursion was the bus ride tot he surf shop only. It is three miles away....walk!!

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Memorable. Went to South Beach. Perfect choice. Beautiful view, plenty of seating on the chairs, and picturesque views.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Long walk (one mile) just to get to the street for the excursions. Went on the "experience Nassau" excursion. Good time. Visited rum factory, rum distillery, shopping mall, shopping market (homemade products), and a chocolate factory. Driver was entertaining as well.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy. Self disembarkment. Up by 4:45, back in the car by 5:15. Beat the crowds, no need to find luggage

My Time Dining, you have the option to make a reservation or show up anytime you want dinner. There's a line for reservations and a line for no reservations. Either way, you'll need to wait to be seated. A reservation isn't required for My Time Dining.

Appreciate your feedback. Libraries were better stocked years ago. Now they seem to be rarely used for that purpose. Many ships turn them into multi purpose rooms: library, puzzle room, card room, gathering location, etc. Happy you still managed to enjoy your cruise.
