Review summary

We had a great and totally stress free 7 days. Even when we had issues (kid throwing up) staff were there instantly taking care of everything. The best part was that we were totally cut off from our normal lives. We didn't pay for roaming or the boat wifi so it was a week of total disengagement from work or usual life.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy- especially for someone who has never done it.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Everything was easy. Vegetarian selection was good. Windjammer was definitely overcrowded at times and we couldn't find seating but you could see how hard they were working to address it.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Kids were happy and engaged. Pools were a little crowded at times and some of the activities had quite a wait, laser tag especially.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows for the kids always seemed to not be the right time with our dinner reservation and all. Wish there was a little more frequency or variation in those show times but other than that it was good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service staff were everywhere you looked and right on whatever you needed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was spotless. It felt like the staff for our room was always waiting there to clean up as soon as we left.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin is definitely crowded with a few kids. We made it work but I wish there was room for your bags and stuff.

Ship tip

Read more about it before you go. We weren't super educated about all there was to do and maybe we could have made better use of some of our time if we had known.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

5 out of 5
No issues boarding or unboarding. Very easy actually.

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
We had some issues getting on the bus to the beach. We didn't really know ahead of time how to work that and we lost some time figuring it out.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We got there late and lost some time so I would have liked more time there, but the time we did have was easy and enjoyable.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We were there all ten hours. The kids had nonstop fun and it was beautiful. Everything was clean and easy to navigate.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was very easy even with 3 kids and tons of bags that we took down ourselves.

How old were the kids? I'm going with my 10 year old niece in October.

How was boarding with children? Wondering how the process is for unvaccinated kids that day and if they have streamlined it from prior reviews.
