Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Windjammer is so small and has so little food choices! Also, Avoid it as RC was so Stupid and Cheap to allow people out food into plates by themselves- I was in RC cruise in December and they had people to serve. Windjammer is mostly the place where I got Covid, yeah…

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Very unorganized. Horrible scheduling. But also no social distancing at all so could be the other way I got… Covid.

Great beautiful ship

Cabin / Stateroom

AC is so weak it was warm and stuffy all the time. I think it’s all cabins like that. Otherwise nice cabin

Ship tip

Avoid Windjammer. Avoid Casino crowds.Avoid all activities that have crowd.RC caresses about social distancing.

Sorry you got sick. I recently came back from a cruise. I wore my mask except to eat. Several people I know got Covid-19 ( not wearing a mask).

Delta variant incubation period is 5.6 days so if symptoms show up on day 6 of a seven day cruise there is a very good chance you caught it in the port while you were waiting to board. Omicron is only 3 days but is really generally so mild that it is an inconvenience rather than a danger.

The windjammer was small? 😳

There is no telling where you got Covid. Cruising will end if we don’t start taking cruises. It could easily happen on land as well. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Hope you have a mild case and recover quickly.

Hope you're feeling much better by now. COVID is not going anywhere and it's up to each of us to protect ourselves. One step is not to go on a cruise where you will be surrounded by hundreds of people regardless. Going and staying away from restaurants, bars, casino, theater doesn't make much sense in my opinion.

Sorry you were sick on your cruise, it's very likely you were sick before the cruise, and symptoms until after you boarded. Just saying. Hopefully your next girls will be better.

Hope you’re not feeling too poorly! Travel restrictions and rules on face coverings and quarantine etc continue to be relaxed, so it’s probably to be expected that there will be more cases on cruise ships now, and I don’t see how they can stop it, unless they introduce so many rules that nobody will want to cruise. I expect we will see this more and more in reviews now, but I do wish you a speedy recovery!
