It was great cruising again. Our last cruise was in 2017. We love the larger ships like Allure and Oasis. We’d like to try Wonder. If you book - check the prices every couple days by doing a mock booking. If the price drops - call and ask for repricing. We did this with excursions, as well.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We upgraded to a junior suite and the suite embarkation was fast and pleasant. We went into a room, had a seat, and someone came to us to check us in. Within a few minutes (about 11am) we boarded!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We skipped the MDR this time except for the Key welcome lunch and a few breakfasts. Those were good. We loved Coastal Kitchen, 150 Central Park, the Chef’s Table and Giovanni’s - both food and service. We disliked Windjammer - mainly due to how many passengers behaved there and out of control kids. The food was ok and staff were friendly and did their best. Izumi had great service, but the sushi wasn’t as good as what we get at home (too much rice vs content). Room service food was good but they missed ordered items. I know they are short staffed and spread thin. Solarium Bistro was closed our sailing.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Loved the Solarium! The casino was also surprisingly great on the non smoking side - didn’t smell smoke at all!
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We skipped Cats. We heard the actors are great - but it’s not a great musical (and we love musicals). The comedy acts were good. We loved Aqua80 and the ice show.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service was tremendous everywhere on the ship. The staff is friendly and does a great job. Our room steward, Sparky, was fantastic!

Cabin / Stateroom

We loved the spaciousness of our junior suite. Particularly the walk in closet and large balcony.
