Review summary

Overall, it was a great cruise and good to be back onboard after more than two years. Looking forward to my next one in June 2022.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Overall things went well getting into the port but there was a delay with some b2b cruisers not disembarking to be retested and it held us up.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food and service was great.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Comedy shows, aqua show and ice show were great. I couldn’t get into the Cats show so unfortunately we left early. Not taking anything away from the performers, they were great, just difficult to follow the storyline. Bob Marley tribute was a lot of fun in Boleros. The band is really good and performed throughout the ship and was always good.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff were excellent and extremely accommodating. It’s amazing how quickly they learn your name and your preferences. All seemed extremely grateful to have us back onboard.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Large ship with plenty to see and do. Can easily sail her a couple times and still not be bored

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Boardwalk balcony room which allowed me to people watch and see the aqua show a couple of times. Not a huge room but it was enough for the two of us.

Ship tip

Honor to Covid protocols so that we can continue sailing. In the windjammer, where seats are limited now for social distance, it made sense to first find a table and then start to get food. It saved walking around looking while your food got cold.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

What’s not to like here. Enjoyed most of the time on the beach. Complimentary food was good as well.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
Took RCCL’s excursion to Magens Bay beach. Nice tour and beautiful beach although it was very crowded because of a few ships being in port.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten Did not visit port

Although we docked, our excursion was canceled by RCCL because of civil unrest on the French side of the island. We elected to stay on the ship and enjoy the scenery and the amenities.

Disembarkation

Fast and smooth. Like the new process of waiting in the stateroom until our number was called. Hope it stays that way going forward.

Cats was all about the changing of the guard. Old vs. New. It was really great. Too bad you couldn't follow. Maybe next time. Glad you enjoyed the cruise.
