Review summary

Overall a beautiful well maintained ship. The waitstaff was very attentive and efficient. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping the ship clean but the kitchen staff does not appear to be following food safety standards set by the CDC.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Very efficient process, plan on 30 minutes or less from the time you arrive in front of the terminal until you board the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
I WAS SERVED A ROLL THAT WAS MOLDY!!! Unfortunately I ate part of the roll and became ill. The bread/rolls in the main dining room and the Windjammer Cafe were stale everyday. Overall the quality of the food being served has gone way down. The French Onion Soup was weak, the chicken cordon bleu is nothing more than a frozen processed chicken patty with a sliver of ham inside and the prime rib was served with two small soggy potato croquettes. The service from the waitstaff was exceptional but the kitchen staff should be embarrassed and ashamed. When I showed the Sous-Chef the moldy roll she seemed uninterested in what I had to say, almost as if she had heard the same complaint before.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Plenty to do on this ship!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Fantastic!

Children's Programs

Did not travel with children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every staff member that I came in contact with was great with the exception of the Sous-Chef mentioned above - Presley in the Boleros lounge is a very nice young man and he makes a great red sangria!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was immaculate!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin accommodations were as expected. Our cabin attendant was very good!

Ship tip

Inspect every bite of food before you put it in your mouth!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida Did not visit port

This port was not on the itinerary.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
Nassau is a crime ridden location with a very high Covid-19 infection rate. We and many other passengers did not get off the ship. I don't know why Royal Caribbean would bring passengers to such a location!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very efficient process!

Thanks for the review, we will be onboard in March, this will be our first cruise on an Oasis Class ship. We usually prefer the smaller ships.
