Review summary

Had a great cruise with our family. The ship was awesome with plenty of things to do. The staff was simply amazing and made our cruise enjoyable.

Embarkation

We got to the terminal 45 minutes after boarding had started. It only took us about 20 minutes to get on board. Very easy process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Enjoyed all our meals while on the ship. There were 6 of us in a 2 bedroom suite, so we took advantage of room service for about half of our meals. It was just nice being bums and eating in the room or out on the deck.

Coastal Kitchen

5 out of 5

Went here for dinner once, and had breakfast here a couple of times. Excellent omelettes. Also enjoyable watching the chef come out and have conversations with the guests.

Portside BBQ

4 out of 5

Had this the 1st day. Good, but nothing to write home about.

Playmakers℠ Sports Bar & Arcade

Good bar food.

Sorrento's Pizza

Great place to go when you get the munchies anytime of day.

Chop's Grille

Food was great. Service was excellent. Your basic fine dining restaurant.

Johnny Rockets

5 out of 5

Fun atmosphere and solid burgers. We stopped 3x's. Always just as good as the previous time.

Giovanni's Table

5 out of 5

Had dinner brought to the room one night. Good Italian food.

Entertainment

AquaTheater

We were in a aqua suite so we literally saw this show 3x's. The song mixing for the 80s show was brilliant. At times 3 songs would be playing at once, and it worked beautifully!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Israel was our royal genie. He was always going out of his way to make sure we were enjoying the cruise. Ketut was our steward. He is easily one of the most hardworking, thoughtful and nicest people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. By the end of the cruise he felt like part of our family.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was great for the 6 of us. There was definitely plenty of room. The only downfall was having the aqua show blasting outside late at night. But that should be expected. Also the master bath shower/tub had much to be desired. I'm 6'2" and could almost touch my ear to the ceiling.

Ship tip

The ship is so massive that I don't feel we took full advantage of all it's amenities during a 1 week cruise. There's just so much to do and see. I guess we could have planned our time on board to enjoy the ship more. But then again, you're on vacation so just enjoy it your own way.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Very nice island. It's a bit of a maze to get out of the port shops area. Was able to walk 3/4 of a mile north and have lunch and a couple beers at sunset restaurant for under $20.

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Still a new cruise port. Not too much going on once you get out of the port terminal area. Plenty of energetic merchants.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Very relaxing stop. Beautiful

The face recognition technology makes it super easy and fast to disembark.

So envious of the aqua theater suite! So happy for you. We're in a crown loft suite in April.
