Review summary

Once again, the ship is the thing! Other than a little age, the Oasis class of ships is the standard. Boardwalk end of ship seems to waste a lot of time with nothing occurring. When there was entertainment, such as water show, Dixieland band, etc., the place fills up; conversely, when there is nothing special happening, the place is deserted (even the Dog Shack is closed a lot of the time) The parade on the Promenade deck was good and Central Park is a highlight.

Windjammer took top honors, as usual; however, lobster in main dining room was as good as we've ever had!!

Rode the Zip line, pools were good. Music in pool area was mostly very poor compared to other RC ships!

Entertainment

Cats is dated (most folks have seen it several times); music in Schooner and around pool was very poor. Music in Dazzles was a musical save on the trip!!

Staff does a good job. Security did a good job of finding a lost item.

Design is over the top; however, the carpet, paint, etc. is really needing an upgrade.

Cabin / Stateroom

First time using a bay-window cabin, as we usually get a balcony. I still favor an interior balcony over central park end of ship.

Ship tip

Really consider the drink package, as beer is now $9.99 with tip, tax, etc!! Constant worry on spending. The package eliminates the fretting.

Clean, friendly and easy access. Recommend the excursion to Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Great guides and shopping is fantastic. Almost every shop offers tequila samples.
