Review summary

The cruise is still very great no matter how busy it is. All the ports were great and I had plan on going back.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Because of our room, we were given very priority screening and had a separate lounge/sitting area to wait for the ship to be ready. We were only sitting for 15-20 minutes before they began boarding.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I’m hardly ever one to complain about food so it’s always going to be good but this one was truly outstanding. We chose not to eat in the dining room at all as we wanted to try out the specialty restaurants and I don’t regret it. My favorites were the Central Park restaurants (Chops and Giovanni’s) as the atmosphere was amazing and I truly felt like I was at a calm park every time I looked out the windows.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I didn’t participate in many of the activities but they still looked fun. The pool seemed clean and not too crowded and I could see the rock wall from my room... it is a hit.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I saw CATS and the aqua shows and they were fantastic. CATS has always been a favorite show of mine and the cast performed it very well. The aqua show performers were all very good and it was really fun to see them practice during the day

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I always love the staff on the ships as they seem to love it there and this time was no exception. Everyone always had a smile on their face and they were very helpful. Loved my room attendant

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We were on a Christmas cruise and it was very packed but it didn’t seem more crowded than any other time. Yes the pool decks are crowded but considering how many people are on the ship and how easy it still is to go from one side to the other, it’s not bad at all.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had 6 people in our room and it was a great size. Plenty of storage space and very clean. Plus, the balcony/ view is amazing especially at night when the Boardwalk is lit up and/or there’s an aqua show.

Ship tip

Go to the front left side of Deck 14 (past the staterooms) and check out the Sun Deck. It’s not advertised very much but it’s right on the front of the ship which means you can see the helipad and all around the front. It has binoculars and it’s usually pretty windy.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
I always have and always will love Labadee and the zip line. It’s such an exhilarating 30 seconds and it makes my day. Plus, Barefoot Beach is very beautiful along with the cabanas.

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
We stayed in the port here which is a smart idea unless you have an excursion. They have plenty of stores inside the port and a Margaritaville which is all I need. The stores can be pushy but I understand because that’s their only income.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the SeaTrek Helmet dive and it was so much fun. Along with that, we went to the new Bubba Gump’s for lunch which is very nice.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Once again, because of our room, we got express debarkation and we made it from ship to outside in 8 minutes.
