Review summary

I booked a cruise for my family for spring break (the only time we can travel together) in April of 2018 for spring break 2019. I just got an email from royal Caribbean (December-just before Christmas) that they cancelled my cruise for “maintenance” that week. “Sorry” the said, but offered only ridiculously paulty options. They treated me, a repeat customer, like dirt. I will never, never, never spend another dime on royal Caribbean the rest of my life. And i will encourage all i know to avoid them at all costs. Awful service. Awful way to treat loyal customers. Adiós royal Caribbean!!

ours was cancelled for the summer. They gave us an extra night on the same week for 39 bucks. Also, 200 on board credit.

The story is true. The same has has happened to my family of 8. What’s fake is that fact that RCI is telling some the cruise is cancelled and others that it’s still on. RCI was my favorite until they pulled this stunt. If they don’t make it right I’m done with them.

I don’t believe this is a true story. They have no cruises listed! Others cruising this same week says they called RCI & it’s not cancelled. FAKE reviews!!!

Wow that’s nobody’s fault. I thinks that maintenance is safely of everyone regardless who you are. I don’t think they treated you bad you’re only taking it too personal. Good luck to you for not sailing RC no more. But RC remains my number 1 cruise forever

No thats true !!! I read that they have canceled this cruise They canceled this cruise for Maintenance before it repositioning but not very good to be treated that way .. take your money elsewhere plenty more cruises and companies to choose from ...don’t let it put you off happy cruising...

Our May cruise on the Mariner was cancelled because the ship was bought out for a private event. We were offered $100 to book a different cruise.

Maybe there is something that needs attention sooner than later and that is the only time they could get it done. They are losing out on a super week to make money, so there is probably more to it. Do the cruise contracts not state that there can be a cancellation or change for whatever reason?? I understand being upset, but it is a chance we take. I hope y’all find a good alternative. Remember, things always work out for a reason.

Things happen. Our transatlantic cruise on NCL Star was canceled when they decided to send her to Australia instead USA. They had an offer for us but we didn't take it. We weren't happy but there's no point going to pieces over something you can't change. We still had our cruise with a different line.
