Review summary

Overall I definitely do not recommend the Oasis.. Too outdated and broken down, coke machines, hot tubs, bathrooms... Choose Harmony or a newer ship!

Awful...it was horribly hot and the lines were wrapped forever outside, yet once inside where it was air conditioned much was roped off and not utilized.

We upgraded to the specialty dinners most nites so dinners were very good.

Onboard Activities

Pools were very over crowded. Hot tub had to be evacuated due to an electrical problem one afternoon. Fitness center was very nice

The first few nites the shows went as scheduled they were excellent. But several nites the shows were cancelled due to electrical malfunctions or other reasons and they had replacements at the last minute that were awful.

We bout the beverage pkg. EVERY DAY they weee down and rarely worked! Many afternoon/nites the ladies restrooms were shut down on several main floors.

We got up very early to unload our own bags and disembark only to be wrapped completely around the ship in an awfully long line.

Hope they fix these problems before I sail in December. I understand Oasis is do for an update in 2019. In the meantime, fingers crossed.

Dry dock happens every 5 years except for the really older ships, then it's every 3 years

When was your cruise? You don’t have any listed. Oasis is going to dry dock next year. I see a lot of complaints about the Coke machines but they have always been working when we’ve sailed. I personally refuse to carry that cup around & use those machines so I just stop by any bar to get a soda. Hopefully your next cruise will go smoother!

I am currently on Oasis and it has been wonderful. I have not experienced anything broken down or any problems. We have had the best service with our stateroom attendant and our waiters Alberto and Wessim.

The Oasis is going to dry dock over in Europe in the spring. I was just on the Oasis this past May, and it was a fantastic cruise! Embarking and disembarking was quick and easy. The only outside lines are at the terminal to drop off luggage, and enter the terminal? And that line was maybe 20 people long? Disembark? Heck we carried our own bags off, and were off the ship and in the car in 20min total!! We were home in Orlando area by 8:15am!! Lol. Everyship, even new ships have issues from time to time. These things run 24x7 so there isnt a "down" time except drydock periods which happen every 10yrs or in emergency major repairs. So any repairs have to be done on the fly. If one bathroom is closed, I just go to another. Every bar has soda, and will fill your cup. Part of cruising is going with the flow and not sweating the small stuff. We will be back on the Oasis in Mar 2019. I look forward to it!!

Thank you for your honest review. We were on in July and a lot of mechanical issues then that caused shows to be canceled. She for sure is a great vacation, just needs that drydock. :)

It’s scheduled to be “amped” in 2019. We’re booked Dec 2019 on Oasis so hopefully, things are better by then.

Lots of chatter about the boat. People were live posting last week that disembarkation was disaster and that soda machines are jacked up. My last trip, the ship did feel worn. Faded drapes, etc. Probably can't get it to drydock fast enough
