I would choose a smaler ship the next time. Not because of the 8000 guest but for the lag of good Food and other special Services or Programs on board. There was no quiettime and nothing special for me. You feel like you are on a selling Tour all the time, everything costs extra and they bother you even with messages om buying there stuff over the roomphone and messages over your room tv, Flyer in your room and every where you walk.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Windjammer was like eating at work at the Cafeteria. Nothing special. The Dining room was better but still nothing to Talk about. Even the special Restaurants don't impress me. It looks like they try to save money on the Food. The Service was at least friendly. The drinking you get without a drinking package are poor.
Onboard Activities

The Pools are full and loud. I don't like to use a flowrider, zipline or climbingwall... the FitnessCenter look editiert old to me and paked with little space inbetween.
Entertainment

Ship Quality

Mostly clean but they have a leaking Toilette Problem on the 6th floor. The Oasis begins to look old in some areas. The beds are hard and unkomfortabel.
Cabin / Stateroom

The beds are hard and unkomfortabel. There is not much space in the morning with the Sofa bed in the way. We had not much use off the balkony but it's nice to get som air in between.
Ship tip
Don't expekt too much from this one. It's ok but maybee choose av smaler one.
Maybe you should stay home in the trailer park and sit on your couch on your front porch as I doubt you could be pleased no matter what... I guess she saved all the government checks and didn’t get to cruise for free like it sounds like she would expect to get something for nothing.... get a life and stay home
My family did this ship last year and we cruise every year and a trip is what u make of it that being said i was not in love with the oasis either ...the food so so and service inconsistant i just felt there was not enough staff to handle the volume of people. We did have a good time because we wanted to but i didnt like how u have to book all the shows u couldnt go in and out of things as you please..which im sure was to keep overcrowding out of the equation so i understand that just wasnt the ship for us...everyone is different u have to find what works for you!
This review seems like its her first cruise and she had unrealistic expectations of what cruising or any cruiseship is like. I found the Oasis cabin size very nice compared to other ships... but ALL cruise ship cabins are small compared to a hotel room unless you book one of the double suites! All buffets are just that... buffets! Lol But the food was good on the Oasis. I never felt they were trying to "Sell me" all the time. But then again, I didnt hang out on the promenade deck all the time, or go to the sales shows "aka port previews" lol. Every cruise ship does that..
Just seems @angelkassel had much different expectations. As I always say... research, research, research!!! Do it before you choose a cruise, a ship, a cruise line, anything... that way you know what your getting into.
Oasis holds up to about 6400 guests plus over 2300 in crew. So there may not be 8000 guests but there is well over 8000 people on ship. That's a lot and took much for me.
