Review summary

We will definitely travel with Royal Caribbean International again! We are already looking at a cruise of the Hawaiian Islands for 2019!! I would recommend, if you have never cruised before or if you have never cruised with Royal Caribbean International, give it a try. My bet is this, you will be spoiled by RCI, if you choose to travel with them first and then follow up with another cruise line. You will definitely return to Royal Caribbean International. I know we will!!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Entertainment on board was of top notch caliber. The last day, we saw the musical "Cats" in the Opal Theater. It was a true Broadway performance! The high dive/synchronized swimming show was phenomenal! Even the comedy shows were awesome! All the entertainment on the ship were A+!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff (right down to the ship's maintenance crew, whom we needed to get my mother's motorized chair running after it just up and quit on her in Jamaica!) were VERY attentive. None of our needs were ignored or even delayed, for that matter. We only had to ask and it was taken care of. What a breath of fresh air THAT was!! It seems that today's "Customer Service" in most industries has fallen by the wayside. In my opinion, any business interested in success should model their "Customer Service Department" after Royal Caribbean International.

Ship Quality

Beautiful layout! That ship is truly a floating city!!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our mouth dropped when we entered our cabin! We have NEVER stayed in a cabin so large. It was a handicapped, ocean side balcony. We've had handicapped cabins before on other cruise lines, but NEVER one quite like this one. My mother could even roll her motorized chair out onto the balcony as well as into the bathroom! She could park her chair in the room and no one ever had to walk around it. The room was very spacious, to say the least!!

Ship tip

Walkie talkie radios are a plus on this ship, especially if you are traveling with a large group. Our group consisted of ten people, and the radios sure made being able to get together easy!
