Review summary

My family loved this cruise so much we booked another for next June on the Anthem of the Seas. Not everything is going to be perfect. With each cruise you learn more and more. There were a few things I wasn't completely happy about BUT..I would do this cruise over and over again because it's that beautiful and the staff were great.

Food and Dining

We ate breakfast at Windjammer and loved it, dinner in main dining room and was delish except last night (I would probably eat in buffet next time on last night). I've noticed after a couple sailings that food usually isn't as great the last night. My husband and I ate at Chops Grille one night and it was delish!! Drinks were phenomenal and ice cream was probably close to being the best I've ever had.

We had the BEST room steward! He felt like family after a couple days. Head waiter was awesome just more professional, our assistant waiter was just as awesome just more personable.

Ship tip

Have fun and don't feel overwhelmed. You'll get to know the ship pretty quick.

Nassau, Bahamas

Nassau is beautiful BUT...be prepared if you take the Atlantis Adventure excursion that you won't have 4 hrs there. Cut that time in half. So you might want to find another way to do that excursion if you are looking to get the most out of it.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Tour was awesome. The island is recovering nicely after hurricane. Such a beautiful island. Definitely suggest Magens Bay if you want a beach. It looked beautiful! I opted for Island tour.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Was awesome taking the tour to our beach. However, did not like our beach at all. Wish I could remember what the beach was called. However they did have some beautiful beaches. They still have A LOT of destruction there. It was so sad to see. I made sure I bought things from the locals.
