Getting on and off was very easy this time around. Ship is beautiful staff friendly, and attentive food excellent. Will miss the Oasis of the Seas.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was so much easier this time around. First, we packed less. Each of us had 1 suitcase. Then we had 1 carryone. We got there early before the crowds. We were on the ship by 11 AM.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate dinner each night in the American Icon Restaurant where the food and service was excellent. We ate breakfast in WindJammer where ther is something for everyone. It would get very busy around 8:15 to 8:30. But it moved quickly. Breakfast was also served in all the dinning rooms which we did not go to this time around. Lunch we had in WindJammer 3 days, 1 or 2 days at Sorrento. Food everywhere was excellent.
Onboard Activities

So much to do. Second cruise and still didn’t get to do everything.
Service and Staff

Our Room Steward, Michael Santos, was very attentive to all of our needs. Our bed was not very comfortable and he brought us a bed topper that made our bed perfect.
Ship Quality

The only negative comment I have is that we could smell someone smoking on a balcony below us which caused us to have to leave our balcony because I have asthma and smoke triggers it. My husband suffers migraines from the smoke.

Ship tip
Pack light and take your own luggage off the ship.
Port was great but not enough time to really enjoy everything. We got there early and not many vendors open. We didn’t get to try any local food because the food trucks were not open yet. Restaurant s didn’t open until 11:30 to 12 and we had to be back on board by 1 pm.
This was the best part of the cruise. Beautiful weather, beautiful water. We rented floating mats which were great. We did some shopping an wanted to give the local people our business but they made it very difficult so we wound up doing our main purchases in the store instead of the open market. The lunch was super. Beware, there were poor dogs looking for food which broke my heart. But it was a fantastic stop.
