Cabin number: 8568

Review summary

Ship is amazing but way too crowded especially in the pool areas. Food at complimentary venues was not very good. Specialty restaurants were over priced and with the exception of the Italian place, were not impressive.

Embarkation

Long Lines and slow service

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
If you want a good (and safe) meal, prepare to dish out the bucks for the specialty restaurants. Under cooked meat and eggs

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Pools were completely over crowded and filthy

Entertainment

1 out of 5
The booking process was flawed and resulted in the loss of reservations for the Aqua theatre and comedy shows. On the morning of day 2 I went to guest relations and was told there were no longer any shows available for anything. We did see Cats in the afternoon of our last day. It was terrible and we walked out after 30 minutes

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
One of the few bright spots on this cruise was our room steward. He kept our ice bucket full and our room tidy.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship itself is amazing. We especially enjoyed Central Park. That being said, with 6100 guests its just too small, especially the pool areas were too over crowded.

Ship tip

Book your shows well in advance of your trip. Try lunch in Central Park it was the best complimentary meal we had. If you are a pool person, you wont like this ship. Specialty restraunts are pricey, Steak house 50.00 per person and if you want lobster, that's an extra 30.00

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

beaches are very rocky and hard on the feet. Say multiple people on crutches after leaving here. as you come off the ship go to the beaches on the right as I heard they are much better

Falmouth, Jamaica

Margaritaville was a big hit

I just returned from a 7 day on Oasis. I'll agree with the food comment. It is pretty bad when your favorite thing on the buffet is mashed potatoes. I love a good hamburger but even their burgers are mushy, not firm. The chef does a great job of making everything bland as to not offend anyone's taste buds.
