Review summary

Oasis of the Seas is a huge ships with lots of options and you shouldn't be bored on the ship. We had a wonderful experience and several members went above abd beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very organized, although it was a bit crowded because of the number of people that needed to get on the ship. People were friendly and guided you through the process. Much more efficient than the process that Carnival had.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We have a daughter that is vegan and another daughter that needs to eat gluten free and thought they would have a hard time finding food that would fit their needs. We were greatly surprised at how the staff in the main dining room went above and beyond to ensure they had a wonderful experience. The food was great, however, near the end we actually tired of eating so much.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Fitness center was top notch. Rock-climbing wall was a good experience for our son. The pools had a tendency to get a little crowded. Parents really need to follow the rules and watch thewir younger children. The pool we were at one day had to close because of an incident.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Shows and variety were far greater than what we experienced on Carnival. Frozen in Time was tremendous, the level of skill the skaters had was tremendous. Oasis of the Dreams diving and swimming was top notch, athletes were olympic caliber. Mo5aic show was highly entertaining. Come Fly with Me was a well staged production. Comedy Club was tough to get into, but they were both very good and enjoyable.

Children's Programs

Children were over 18.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters were tremendous and catered to all our needs. Went above and beyond our expectations. Room steward did a terrific job and was extremely pleasant. Every one we came in contact with wanted to ensure we had a great experience.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Layout was a little confusing and overwhelming at first. Common areas were clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Size was a little smaller than expected but worked out well. Room was kept clean by room steward.

Ship tip

Don't get overwhelmed the the size of the ship. Pay attention to what side your cabin is on and make sure you use the right elevator.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

Was where we got on and off boat. Our hotel was in Orlando.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

4 out of 5
There wasn't much to do on this island. We went on the Amiga Island Experience which was wonderful.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Dunns River Falls and inner tubing was great, although we could have done away with stop for souvenirs. The shops were similar to what was at the port. Dunns River Falls was an incredible experience.

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
It was extremely hot that day. Mayan Ruins was a little disappointing, would have thought there would have more to it. The beach was OK, but was disappointed that there was an extra charge to sit by the water.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The process was incredibly easy and way better than our Carnival experience.
