Review summary

Favorite part was the ability to have free dining. Having 2 grandchildren that were teens and 4 adults eating when we wanted was great.

Activites provided for teens was great also.

What I would change is that we didn't know for 3 days which restaurants were on the my time meals till we searched it out..

Lines to activites were short as there were many.

In the beginning of trip we should be told what tips were and should choose what we want to give not see it on tv screen. People traveling with children should not be charged per child only per adults for tipping!!

That was way out of proportion to what it should be.

We enjoyed the cruise very much tho and are planning a holiday one

We don't have unruly kids but they're still catered to on our cruises just they're father and I are. They age of the passenger doesn't matter. If the staff waits on them in any way they should be compensated. Did they eat? Were their beds made? Did they attend the the clubs even once? If so, they were waited on. It doesn't matter if their brats or precious little snow flakes.

been on cruises with our kids when they were growing up we did pay for them but they were behaved...

Matt ward, do you have unruly children, because on all the cruises I've been on I haven't seen any. As a matter of fact I think they keep children busy with activities. was on a celebrity cruise a few years ago, and you know who was unruly, it was all the springbreakers that were terrible. They were so bad that they were running up and down the halls yelling. maybe they should charge premium for people like that.

Sounds like you are new to cruising. Gratuities have always been per person in cabin. I even had to pay third person fare plus gratuities for my 10 month old granddaughter! But I knew this going in. I always prepay mine before boarding.

Tips are known ahead of time if you check the RC website. You can make changes if you want. I have done that one time at the end of the week because service across the board was bad (not on RC)

Mattward you must have some very unruly children. Not all children are like this. l know ours are not. On the last cruise we went on all the kids I saw were very well mannered. Every time I see a child misbehaving I see a parent that is twice as bad.....

@maryjw1 what restaurant is my time dining

I feel they should pay a premium for the amount of noise they make. Some parents just can't control their children.

Kids/teens can make more of a mess than adults. Why should they be 'free' and not have to pay gratuities?
