Review summary

Long time cruisers. Loved the ship, our stateroom was smaller than normal..weirdly narrow, with closet by bed, hard to access. Ship was great, so much to see and do. Aqua show was super! Get there early!! Solarium was fabulous, lots of chairs and wicker furniture and a small restaurant for breakfast and lunch like the Windjammer. The different food venues took the pressure off the Windjammer and made good food accessible always. The Promenade is super and enjoyed the parade. My Time Dining is a nightmare as always, you don't have a reservation really, don't expect to be sat when you reserved, the lines could be horrible, and the wait anywhere from 10-30 minutes for ok food. The wait staff tried, but dinner took forever!!! My time dining just doesn't work. Have tried it several times, different ships, just doesn't work consistently to be worth it. Chops Grille was a disappointment, tables tooo close and the noise level outrageous. Large parties of 8+ yelling across their tables, could barely hear our waiter. Giovannis much more pleasant atmosphere. The excursion to Dolphin Cove in Jamaica was great...unfortunately docking in Falmouth makes many of the excursions 45 minutes away. Ocho Rios much easier to access fun things to do. Glad we went and enjoyed the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Indian food in Windjammer...great!!! My Time Dining a nightmare. Food and service not worth the wait. Wait staff seemed overwhelmed....did their best. Diamond Lounge happy hour not great. Not enough staff, finally left, never got served, appetizer table mostly empty. Large groups got all the attention, couples left out.

Our room steward Iputu was great!! Everything we asked was delivered promptly and with a smile. He always greeted us by name and was a real asset to our trip. Got our malfunctioning toilet fixed quickly!! Always smiling and pleasant.....loved him!!!

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Too narrow....trying to open closet difficult as the bed is right behind you. Very little space between foot of bed and wall. Impossible to walk with couch made into bed. Balcony too narrow also. Bathroom was fine. Design was ok except for closet too close to bed. Just tooooo narrow!!!!

Ship tip

Patience!! It's a big ship, lots of people. Use the stairs if you can, elevators can be slow, especially with strollers, children and people in motorized wheelchairs etc. Give yourself time and consult the interactive maps to help figure out how to get around.

Too faraway from most activities. Ocho Rios better port, easier to get to fun things to do.

Cozumel, Mexico

Love Cozumel. Go to Chakanaab Park by taxi! Great snorkeling, beautiful beach and great guacamole and tons of activities.
