Review summary

Very disappointed in the staff was not friendly never smile or not attentive food had not flavor. The ship was nice but way to big would not sail with Royal again this ship is for people who has lots of money the dollar you to death.

Crazy... The staff was incredible! Always smiling, making us feel as though we're the first and only guests they've had. We were sad to leave them.

In my experience people that look to complain will no matter what and in that case after a few days I'm sure the staff realized that the person is one of those so they probably intentionally tried to leave the complainer alone

I totally agree about the staff. I ve done carnival and norweigan and I found the Oasis staff to be the most uncaring and unfriendly staff I've ever dealt with

I have to say that this is my 5th cruise w RC and we are going back to a smaller ship bc we felt as though the staff were overworked. We felt as though the smaller ships gave us better service and better food quality as well. It's just too big for us. We did book another cruise on a smaller ship for those reasons.

My experience was wonderful. The food was very good. Some nights better than others but all very good. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We are already talking about when to plan our next voyage on the Oasis.

You said crew was not friendly, were you? Food is always hit or miss anywhere you go or cruise ships, yes it's a big ship but you tried it and realize you prefer smaller ships. But I bet you would be packing your bags if you were offered a free cruise. Sometimes our expectations are to much, just be glad you were able to afford a vacation that some would give anything to enjoy.

I will say MDR food wasn't great. Probably the worst thing called steak that I've had in my life was served in American Ikon. Solarium okay, Coastal Kitchen, Chops and Izumi much better. But all staff were friendly.

We were on this amazing ship almost a year ago(Oct.24-31, 2015) for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and all of expectations were exceeded.

I can't wait to sail oasis! I have saved smaller ships with RC as well as Anthem and they were all wonderful! Before you rule out RC, try another smaller class!

We thought the experience on the Oasis was wonderful. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The food was good we had a balcony over central park and we ordered breakfast 2 morning while we were at sea on the balcony and that was great. But I was told years ago that you make the trip work for you . you go in negative you come out negative. That's just my opinion.

We had a very different experience!!! One bartender was so amazing we have kept in touch with him after our cruise. The waiters at the pool deck and in the solarium were trying to refill our drinks before we were finished with the ones we had. Everyone that we came in contact with was awesome. We thought the food everywhere was fantastic and often had trouble figuring out where we wanted to eat because it was all so incredibly good. We sail on Oasis again in 37 days and are already talking about where all we want to eat and how often. Different strokes I guess.

Not sure what they ask you to pay extra for....We were on the ship in September...it is a huge ship you are right. Everyone was very attentive and always making sure we were OK. We opted to do Johnny Rockets and Chops which cost extra but that was our choice. Can't wait to go away on Oasis of the seas in December
