Review summary

The ship was too large for my taste...way too many people meant standing in line for everything.  There were too many restaurants that you had to pay whereas the cruise food should be included for the price you pay for the cruise.  The shops were high end and not that great of deals in any of them.  The food in the main dining rooms wasn't that great either.  We felt like we were on a rolling slot machine.  Felt somewhat unsafe at Labadee...the locals were very pushy and intimidating trying to sell there handmade items.  Also, both of our credit cards were compromised and had fraudulent charges.

LEOCRUISER...First of all I'm not "hard to please". We did our research as you call it and have been on big ships with a lot of guests but have never had so much chaos as we did on the Oasis. You enjoy your Royal Caribbean and I'll stick to Carnival.

I think some people are hard to please.First of all you only have to pay for food if you choose to no one is running you down to get to a specialty restaurants .When I book a cruise I look to see how many passengers it carries so I know what to expect .Doing research before you leave home prepares you to have a great time on a cruise and I have NEVER been on a Royal Caribbean cruise where the service wasn't GREAT .With seven plus cruises under your belt you should have expected the locals to try and sell there items .I have been on 12 Royal cruises and 6 from another line and I have never felt unsafe .Oh by the way my family and I have been on the Oasis three[3] times twice with a balcony great experience our favorite ship so far. Can't wait to experience the the newer ships.I hope on your next cruise you will be pleased.

8 day cruise and never waited in line for anything except guest services, and an occasional elevator

We never stood in lines anywhere on board even on sea days and our cruise in Oasis was sold out. There are several paid options, but there's plenty of included options for any taste. Shops aren't much different deal wise than other lines.

Wow. No other cruise history on your file. Hmmm, just one cruise.

The extra cost restaurants give choices for those who want something different. Oasis has a lot of free options. On the CC issue, see if your bank has a CC app. With the capital one app, my phone gets an alert within seconds of a charge being placed.

The locals are limited to one section of Labadee. Avoid the shops and you avoid all of that.
