Review summary

The ship is beautiful, lots of activities, GREAT shows (saw full Broadway production of "CATS"! WONDERFUL!!); well maintained w/ an excellent and very hard working crew.  Loved the food, the rest and relaxation. Each time we cruise, we learn new stuff.  Should have listened to Joseph Parks, our "Cruise Guru" and committed to a seating but things still worked out well.  Next time we will also sign up for our excursions WHEN we book the cruise (couldn't do a few that we really wanted to do because they were ALL booked up!).  All in all, will be watching for more great deals in the future from Royal Caribbean.  The OASIS of the Seas convinced us that cruising is the ideal vacation for US.  Thanks again.

Our cabin person (Idewa ?) kept us in great shape. Due to the size of the ship, our cabin on the Legend of the Seas was bigger but this still worked. GREAT shower!!

Ship tip

Since OASIS of the Seas is such a large ship and carries about 5500 passengers, folks should definitely reserve as many shows, excursions, etc. early! Things fill up really quickly.

Ports of call

Better signage (especially the closer you get to the port!) would be helpful. We almost went to the airport.

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

NA; we got up too late to visit Nassau.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Take the tour and go to the top of the "mountain". Buy ALL of your souvenir stuff there, GREAT prices and selection!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Really interesting place (French and Dutch). The downtown shopping was interesting as well. A LOT of walking IF you choose to walk back to the ship. Take a taxi instead IF you are of "that age".
