7 Night Western Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip)
Sail Date: March 19, 2011
Ship: Oasis of the Seas
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 7 years ago

The ship was almost at full capacity and we rarely experience any time in line waiting. Our favorite place to hang out for a quick bite was the Park Cafe in Central park. We never had to look for deck chairs there were always several available. The solarium was a tranquil, relaxing spot for adults only.

Food and Dining

Dining room had the best food. We did dine in GIovannis Table, it had a $15 charge per person but you could order several options.

I loved having a large porthole to view the ocean.

Employees were somewhat disgruntle about helping out.

Jeep tour and private island was the best day.
Don't Miss: Isla Pasion - the best guacamole ever.

It was the first visit and it was extremely crowded with all the locals blocking the street. We would not recommend the Dunns falls, very crowded. We did enjoy the river tubing. However, I don't think the hour and a half drive was worth it. It will be amazing when the port is finished.

Pros: All the activities on the boat and the amazing shows.

Cons: The food in the buffet, it was the same everyday and not good quality.

Recommends Oasis of the Seas? Yes!
