Review summary
My wife and I went on this cruise without knowing what we would find there. Our expectation was big because we were on our Honey Moon trip. Hawaii itself is just a wonderful place and we knew that. What we did not know was about spending only a day at the most in each island. Well, the negative side is that you just get to choose one excursion and get to know only one side of the island. Now, the positive is that you learn a bit about every island which is nice and makes it easier for making a decision on your next visit to Hawaii. Talking about the ship, a small ship like the Norwegian Wind shakes a little bit. So, if you easily get sick on the sea, you should consider a larger ship. In addition, the larger the ship, of course the larger the number of restaurants and activities you will find. What makes a small ship nice is that you learn quicly how to get around and people kind of stay more concentrated making it nicer. Freestyle cruising is definetely something I do recommend. Even though restaurant lines could get bad, I do no remember a single time where we had to wait longer than 10 minutes on the line. It was my first cruise and definetely unforgetable!Ports of call
Pros: Full service onboard
Cons: Shore excursions extremelly expensive onboard but no much options due to time constraint inland
Recommends Norwegian Wind? Yes!
