Our first time cruising with Norwegian was a great experience overall. We wished the food tasted better, but the cleanliness and service provided superseded that flaw and we are willing to cruise again with Norwegian. Loved that the drinks were included both on the cruise line and their private island Great Stirrup Cay. We had a great time!

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
I loved that the drinks were all inclusive. The dining rooms, buffets and restaurants were all very clean. Service was always wonderful. My only gripe is that the food lacked in delicious flavor. Everything tasted pretty bland and mediocre. The food in the restaurants indeed tasted better than the food at the buffet, but my husband and I both agreed that the food on other cruise lines exceeded Norwegian's. Breakfast at the buffet however was always a nice treat.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I enjoyed watching & participating in some of the games. The comedian was by far the best entertainment on this cruise. I didn't even step one toe in the pools or hot tubs. The dance & song production didn't tickle our fancy. We went to the gym once and it was just okay.
Entertainment

We loved the comedian! We wished there were more show options. The music was live and the emcees were great.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
We didn't have one bad experience with service on this cruise. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The layout was questionable. I've cruised with Royal Caribbean and my husband on Carnival and we both liked their layouts better. The cleanliness on Norwegian however was superb!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Everything in our cabin was great, except for the shower size/layout. I hate the curtain touching me while showering and neither I nor my husband prevented this from happening. We are definitely not wide people either. Other than that, our cabin was fantastic, cozy and clean. Plenty of storage space in room and bathroom.
Ship tip
Bring your own snorkel gear if you plan on snorkeling; bring a refillable bottle/cup; arrive 30 min early to restaurants, shows, pools or anything you want good seating/views; be friendly & social to staff members and other cruisers; smile often
We brought our own snorkel gear but rented life vests. We tried to find the underwater garden but only saw a few statues. It was a cloudy day and it sprinkled here and there. Wish we could have stayed longer. There was a lot of construction going on because they are building a zipline and other things so we couldn't explore the whole island.
We didn't book an excursion with the cruise line but found one once on land. Explored Nassau in less than 3 hours and bought some souvenirs. The weather was great and once again, I wish we could have stayed longer.
