Review summary

My daughter and I recently returned from this 7 day cruise. We were very pleased with our stateroom. The room as clean and our steward was very efficient. The meals were excellent. We dined in each of the restaurants and were pleased with the food. There were many choices available daily at the buffets. We also enjoyed the "Theme Nights" regarding food. Several meals were prepared poolside and those were delicious as well. The entertainment was fantastic. There were a variety of types of performances and the entertainers themselves were outstanding. I would highly recommend this ship and cruise line. The staff throughout the ship were helpful and did whatever they could to ensure we had a wonderful cruise.

We went on valentine's day, and came home and booked it again for april 10th. Food was great! We both gained 6 pounds, and we never gain on a cruise!!

Diana I seriously had a good time on the star It's a lovely ship and as I always interact and sometimes tip staff each day in had great service Sure it's not as good as my princess cruise but nice ship food good shows good So much so I have booked NCL for November Some ppl will just complain ad hoc today Please go with open eyes and bloody enjoy it

I cruised on the star at the end of February and had a great time. There was 11 adults and 1 child and I couldn't have asked for better, the food was always amazing, and it was so relaxing.

Leave April 10th on the Star and seeing all these complaints about the ship have had me a little worried about booking with NCL instead of through Carnival who I've cruised with multiple times with no complaints. I'm not expecting perfection with NCL and I'm going into this cruise with an open mind and an understanding that every member of the Norwegian Star staff will go above and beyond for every single cruiser that steps aboard their ship and I plan on having a hell of a good time and others should too instead of spending their time looking for and finding fault with everything. 24 days and counting!!!
