Review summary
I was really impressed with the crew. They all seem to really enjoy their work and make you feel like a star. They go out of their way to say good morning and ask how you are doing. Their work ethic is astonishing. The food was the same day after day at the main buffet. The free restaurant did not deviate enough from the main buffet. The single ice cream machine broke several times during the cruise which was a big disappointment for the kids since all of the other dessert was designed for diabetics. While the cruise reviews and description made it seem like a family friendly ship it turned out to only have about a dozen families on the ship. Most of the cruisers were senior citizens which. Nothing against the senior citizens however when you have a large family of young children they are looking for play mates. Going to the main pool and out side grill became a health hazard with that also being a main smoking area. You had to go through a crowd of smokers just to get to the pool. Very disappointing. One of our children was 12 years old which placed her in an uncomfortable age group of 6 to 12 year olds. She was not allowed to go to the teen area which I slightly agreed with although without any other alternative and nothing geared for her age she did not have fun on the ship at all.Ship experiences
